Two interesting groups of plants are the mosses and lichens. There are many shapes and colours. Here are two to start with. Sphagnum magellanicum img 3272 and Cladonia sp. possibly floerkeana img 3475.

Here are pics of Petunia axillaris grown from seed sown January. I didnt realise when I chose the seed that it's an annual.  The six plants grew and grew and have been amazing. The evening scent is wonderful but it also attracts bees and hover flies ...
