Something exciting happed while I was away in England.

A 3m x 90cm plunge that will hold 96 15cm pots or 133 13cm pots. That's a lot of potting!

Paint it? Plaster it? Coping stone or not?

Has anybody tried growing this species? It seems quite common in parts of the Alps, but I have never seen it in cultivation. Is it invasive?

As a group the pea family seem a bit undervalued by gardeners.

My first flowering crocus for the new autumn season 2015.
Crocus suworovianus - Looks like Crocus vallicola but this one needs some drier growing conditions.
