Fred Hunt, famous as one of SRGC's  greatest growers and exhibitors has  generously donated a number of flower paintings to be auctioned for Club Funds. This auction will take place  at the  Early Bulb Day in Dunblane in 2019.
All but one of the paintings for auction are by the late Lawrence Greenwood. Lawrence was a stalwart member of SRGC who often exhibited his watercolour paintings of flowers at Club events.

This is the list of paintings by Lawrence Greenwood  :
Aquilegia jonesii
Arisaema elephas
Cypripedium calceolus
Cypripedium formosanum
Cypripedium guttatum
Cypripedium macranthos
Fritillaria hermonis ssp. amana ‘Sunglow’
Fritillaria latifolia
Fritillaria michailovskyi
Gentiana acaulis
Lilium souliei
Meconopsis grandis ‘Slieve Donard‘
Primula falcifolia
Primula reidii var. williamsii
Pulsatilla ‘Budapest‘
Rhododendron leucaspis
Trillium discolor

Plus one other –
Rhododendron yakushimanum  by M. Wilson

A pdf  containing photos of the paintings ( taken under glass in their frames, so showing some reflection )  may be downloaded  by clicking this link : http://files.srgc.net/localgroups/DonatedAuctionPaintings.pdf

This pdf contains  photos of the works, plus the size of the images and the size  including their frames.

A few photos to tempt you!
