No "Spring Thing" at Monksilver Nursery this year?  It isn't on the list of events and the web site, typically out-of-date, only mentions the one held in 2018.
Almost in Scotland.

Many  sites find it hard to be up to date  :'(   -  however, The  Plantsman's Preference site of Tim Fuller  says that they will be attending the 20th Monksilver Spring Thing on Saturday 9th March 2019

https://www.plantpref.co.uk/events.html

Of course, the "event" may be private  :-\

There's another omission from the list; Monksilver is also scheduled to attend the Bedfordshire Alpine Garden Society's annual show in Wilstead, Bedford MK45 3BX on Saturday March 23rd from 11.15am - 3pm.

Thanks, Maggi.  I had noticed that the weekend of 9th March was suspiciously free.  Do "private" events where nurserymen and nurserywomen get together but exclude members of the public really take place?

I can't see nursery owners spending time and car fuel just turning up to places for a cozy cup of tea. At this time of year particularly they are likely to need all the time available to continue to produce some badly-needed income. Usually anything taken from any Web produced information coming from Monksilver has to be taken with a huge dose of salt.

Who knows, Alan - I'd have thought it  very unlikely to be  worth the while of nursery folk to do that - but who knows if there may be  "invite only" events?

I have been reliably informed that Joe Sharmans's 'Spring Thing' is indeed on Saturday 9th March at Monksilver Nursery.  Nominally it runs from 10 'til 4 and it is open to all.
Almost in Scotland.

In that case I expect  those  who might wish to attend will be grateful for the heads up here to let them know about it!
