Exploration Awards

SRGC Exploration Awards were set up in 1985 to make awards to help finance projects or trips relating to rock garden plants.  Feedback in the form of journal articles, talks (in person or online), reports, photographs etc is expected.. Recipients of awards need not necessarily be members of the SRGC.

If you are considering an application, then you can download the Criteria for Exploration Awards (pdf) to check if your proposed expedition qualifies.

Applications for Exploration Awards are usually considered on a six-monthly basis, and the submission deadline for applications is midday on the second Sunday in May and November each year.  However, we are flexible, and applications are welcomed and can be considered at any time.  Please contact Carole Bainbridge if you are interested in applying or wish to know any more information.

If you want to apply then download Award Application Form (pdf) and return your completed form by email to the Fund Secretary: Carole Bainbridge at: .
